Aurelija Fitzpatrick approaches family law with a focus on problem-solving and understanding. She knows that her clients are often navigating complex, emotional situations and may feel misunderstood. Frequently appointed by the Court as a Child Representative or Guardian Ad Litem, Aurelija represents children in high-conflict domestic relations cases. She is also an approved Parenting Coordinator in Cook County, Illinois, helping parents implement and comply with parenting plans, resolve disputes, and prioritize the best interests of their children.
Aurelija is recognized as a thought leader in family law. She has published articles on topics such as financial support, grandparents’ rights, and immigration issues affecting unaccompanied minors, and regularly delivers presentations on various family law matters.
She practices across Cook, DuPage, Will, McHenry, and Lake Counties and is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the United States Supreme Court. Aurelija is an active member of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois (WBAI), the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
