Kara Wolinski is an Associate Attorney at Fitzpatrick Tarara Family Law LLC, where she represents clients in complex family law matters involving custody disputes, parenting time, child support modifications, and other issues impacting parents and children. She approaches each case with careful attention to detail and a deep understanding of the emotional dynamics involved in family law proceedings.
Kara earned dual undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Political Science from Clemson University, where she developed a strong foundation in human behavior and the systems that shape interpersonal relationships. She returned to her hometown of Chicago to attend Loyola University Chicago School of Law, further solidifying her commitment to family law.
During law school, Kara externed for Judge Shapiro in the Cook County Domestic Relations Division, gaining firsthand insight into judicial decision-making in divorce and parentage cases. She also participated in Loyola’s Domestic Violence Practicum, assisting individuals seeking Orders of Protection and providing critical legal information and resources during vulnerable moments.
Kara is driven by a genuine desire to guide clients through some of the most emotional and challenging periods of their lives. She is known for her thoughtful, compassionate approach and her commitment to delivering strong, effective advocacy tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
